Ksenia Schnaider FW 26: evolution of her square jeans
19/03/2026
Always keen to upcycle deadstock, Ksenia Schnaider has integrated pieces of jeans into everyday wear in unexpected ways, with distinctive elements, pockets, or the back panels of jeans inset into her knitwear pieces.
Ms Schnaider has been working with British brand Lee Cooper for the past two seasons, creating a demo collection that upcycles the company’s unused stock. For the fall season, she crafted dresses made only from the belts of jeans and a series of multipocket utility styles. “It’s been great fun working with Lee Cooper,” she says of the heritage brand founded in 1908.
The ten-year-old brand produces its garments in Kiev, and has been struggling with the constant electricity cuts, she said.
