Kingpins calls for memories as it plans tribute to Adriano
Denim trade show Kingpins is planning a tribute to the late Adriano Goldschmied on the first day of the Amsterdam show, and is asking for people to submit their memories.
On April 15 at 4pm, show CEO Vivian Wang will lead the tributes.
“Adriano Goldschmied was a visionary designer and a product developer who had a deep love and respect for denim. He was committed to making the denim industry better — for the planet and for the community, including brands and suppliers and the consumer who shared his passion for jeans.
“We are collecting stories, memories, and reflections about how Adriano shaped the denim industry for the better. This includes the personal impact he had on so many in our community, from the inspiration he provided to his willingness to share his expertise and be a mentor to others. These stories will be shared at the upcoming Kingpins Show in Amsterdam — and we will share these memories with Adriano’s family.”
Anyone wishing to contribute can add their memories through the Kingpins’ site, by the end of April 9.
The show has also published details of its seminars.
