Partners formalise fast track fading
Pakistan denim mill Soorty has been working with Jeanologia to create a range of denim fabrics optimised for the laser and waterless finishing solutions that the Spanish technology company has developed over the years. The new Fast Fade collection has been engineered, from yarn construction to weaving process, to deliver high-contrast effects and promises to avoid manual whiskering or sanding, in addition to conventional wet processes.
The teams of the two companies shared both technical and creative insights and visited each other’s facilities. The collaboration is described as addressing “a much needed shift in the industry towards true supply chain integratrion”.
Fast Fade also takes advantage of Jeanologia’s latest digital and AI-powered design tool, Billy, first introduced at Kingpins last month.
