Levi’s takes over Galeries Lafayette

This month, Parisian department store Galeries Lafayette Haussmann is decked out in Levi’s colours. The brand’s first women-focused campaign in France is fronted by Canadian pop star (and former model) Charlotte Cardin.

In what is described as an ‘immersive’ retail experience, Levi’s has dressed up all the window displays and installed a 30 square-meter pop up on the ground floor. One lucky customer will win two tickets to Charlotte Cardin’s concert later this month in Paris.

“This campaign is an opportunity to connect the worlds of fashion, music and creativity in the heart of Paris and to present our women’s collection in an immersive environment,” commented Lucia Marcuzzo, Levi’s general manager for Europe. Earlier this week, she posted a note on the importance of retail in Levi’s strategy to create stronger connections with consumers: “Across Europe, we’re reimagining physical retail as a competitive advantage – not just places to shop, but places where the brand shows up with clarity and purpose”.
