Partnership to scale recycled cotton in denim

Ahead of Kingpins, which opens tomorrow in Amsterdam, recycled cotton maker Recover, of Spain, and vertically integrated denim producer Prosperity have launched a ‘strategic partnership’ to scale the use of Recover’s mechanically recycled cotton in denims. The fabric range, which is a part of Recover Fabrics, is made in the Chinese company’s Vietnam factory. A demonstration collection will be presented at the show.

“By combining Recover’s recycled cotton expertise with our industrial manufacturing capabilities, we are able to deliver competitive, high volume denim fabrics that meet the performance, lead time and quality expectations of global brands,” commented Prosperity Textile CEO Stafford Lau.
