Madrid-based denim retail group AWWG has announced that its chief executive, Marcella Wartenbergh, is stepping down after seven years in the role. She will be succeeded by group chief finance officer, Laura Fernández Plaza.

AWWG owns Pepe Jeans London, Hackett, and Façonnable, and is master franchisee for PVH-owned Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein in Spain and Portugal. 

It said that, under Marcella Wartenbergh it had become “a stronger, more integrated platform” and had “a clear vision for the future”.
