In it, we investigate the trend for resin coatings, leather looks and metallic finishings along with PP alternatives that chemicals companies have on offer. We also look at how the rise of Smartorial styles connects with wool denims, while looser fits are giving new prominence to the fluidity and comfort of lyocell and acetate blends. Trompe-l’oeil jeans, calling on digital printing or jacquard, are also seeing growing interest, and happen to be both very creative and very sustainable.
