Officina39: Industry is seeking intelligent systems
Italian chemicals company Officina39 is introducing its Low Temperature Reactive Dyeing to visitors to Denim Première Vision Milan (May 20-21), alongside tie-ups with XLance and fashion school Istituto Marangoni Milano.
The low temperature system is designed as a complete sequence covering bleaching, dyeing and soaping. By reducing operating temperatures across the process, it supports lower energy consumption while maintaining colour performance, fastness and compatibility with conventional dyeing equipment, it said.
The system also allows laundries and brands to create reactive dye-based effects, including high-impact acid wash looks starting from reactive dyes, it added.
A renewed focus will also be placed on Zero.PP All.In, Officina39’s solution for the “cost neutral” replacement of potassium permanganate in denim finishing. The company believes the denim sector is approaching a turning point, in which PP will be progressively excluded from production processes.
Andrea Venier, managing director at Officina39, said: “Denim is at a decisive moment. The industry is no longer asking only for cleaner chemistry, but for intelligent systems that combine creativity, efficiency and real industrial change.”
