Paris opening for artisan denim brand
Family-owned artisan, bespoke denim company Atelier Tuffery opened its first permanent boutique in Paris earlier this month.
Founded in Florac in south-west France in 1892, Atelier Tuffery started out making workwear for local people. In the 1950s, it moved into jeans.
Its Paris boutique is in the Marais district. Company president, Julien Tuffery, a representative of the fourth generation of the family to run the company, said opening a boutique in the capital was a natural step for the company, which he said hard work and customer loyalty had made possible.
