Executive appointment at Çalik
Turkey based denim mill Çalik has announced the appointment of a new general manager, Eray Karaduman. Mr Karaduman most recently worked for textile group Kordsa, heading its North American operations, and before that was at Unilever. On taking on the new position, he declared: “Our focus is clear: to lead the transformation of denim through innovation, responsible production, and a globally connected mindset. We are not only adapting to change — we are actively shaping it.”
At Kingpins Amsterdam this month, Çalik will be presenting its collection for AW 27/28, Earth Echoes. Its inspiration draws on “nature’s internal balance and hidden structures” expressed through combinations of rigid strength and fluid movement, along with innovative fibres and low impact processes.
