Mavi sells 14m pairs of jeans in 2025
Turkish fashion brand Mavi is boosting its visibility in the US, opening 11 stores there in 2025 as well as eight in in its home country.
It reported a 5% decline in revenues for the year to TL 47.7 billion (£805 million) and TL 2.6 billion in net profit.
Selling 57 million products, including nearly 14 million pairs of jeans, the company said it is the best-selling brand in Turkey for jeans and in the top three for clothing generally.
Mavi CEO Cüneyt Yavuz said: “In 2025, we successfully navigated the pressures created by macroeconomic conditions and the ongoing uncertainties both locally and globally through our effective strategies, while maintaining our strong balance sheet structure.
“At the beginning of 2025, we launched our ‘Kartus Genç’ programme, designed specifically for customers under the age of 25, further strengthening our journey to become the number one brand of youth. The fact that 70% of the 1.4 million new customers we welcomed throughout the year were under 35 is one of the strongest indicators that we are a brand growing together with younger generations.”
This year, the company plans open 15 stores in Turkey, expand 15 stores and renovate 30. Its North America investments will continue with six new shops.
The company operates around 500 stores and nearly 4,000 locations in 34 countries.
